Tournament Tasks

Magazine

- Exclaim giving money to be put toward a professional publicists

- Chuck Molgat in charge of lay out (28-32 pages).

- needs other writers (maybe there will be some money for them)

- Content: - Game schedule

- History, background

- Team Info

- The questionnaire

- Team bio

- Players to watch

- Pictures (dependent on space)

- Send pics with applications to Tom & Chuck

- Team pics with left to right names (handled by Simon Evers and Stephen Cribbin

- Ads: Tom Goodwin and Stephen Cribbin will co-ordinate

- $20 - $500 (business card – back cover)

- Jeremi Madsen will try to sell Ad space

- Stephen and Chuck need to be kept up to date on how much Ad space has been sold

Submissions

- A reminder email to be sent out with a check list

- Submissions to be sent to Tom & Deanna

- They will forward magazine stuff to Chuck

Sponsors

- Novice Hockey Game: jerseys, prizes

- Prizes: maybe a table and you get to choose your own

- Other breweries

- Lee’s Palace (Wellington and Labatt)

- Sam the Record man a possibility

- Jeremi Madsen and Deanna will look for more Sponsors

- Need a Sponsorship Package (Professional) perhaps through email.

Publicists

- Chuck Molgat volunteers to be a leason between publish and celebs

- Ray Henderson volunteers to be on location liaison

- Perhaps one per rink?

Merch Table & Time Keeping

- Dan Hicox will man merch table

- If your team has merch to sell you must have a rep put in time at the table for at least 2 hrs over the corse of the weekend.

- Need a Supervisor make sure table gets set up and torn down each day …

- Ray Henderson and Tommy Gough will find a supervisor.

- Perhaps permenant timekeepers at each rink will a team rep for each game.

- 5 time keepers in total

- Stephen Cribbin and Richard Switzer will schedule time keepers

- Give bonus pts to teams for showing up for their turn at merch table and time keeping

- Tom Good win would like to pay permanent time keepers

Convenors

- 5 for each day (Tom Goodwin would like to pay Conveinors)

- make sure everything is running smoothly

- the go to person

- remind teams of rule before game

- Ray Henderson will look for more convenors and schedule shifts

- Tom Goodwin would like to not be a convenor

- Jeremi Madsen would like to be a convenor

- Other possibilities: Steve Sullivan, Steve McNiel, and Grant Lawrence?

- Convenors will be identifiable by a necklace laminate of all schedules

- Ray Henderson will co-ordinate schedules

Hootenanny Co-ordinator

- Tommy Gough volunteers to be co-ordinator

- Will need, MC, stage manager, door person for 3 nights (Thurs.- Sat.)

- Total of 28 teams (9 will not be performing – weed out less quality acts)

- Ray Henderson would like to help.

- Ottawa Millionaires will pick winner of the Dominion Award.

- possible people for the Kesper Award: Bill Batten (Pneumonia), Chris King (Capsule Music), ? Flying Vees

- Tom Goodwin would like to have the winners of awards pick before the day of the Closing Reception.

- perhaps an Exclaim Summit participation patch for everyone (Stitchy Lizard)

- Stephen Cribbin needs help with the hockey card sort.

- Jeremi Madsen will organize a team to sort

- Chuck Molgat will take care of the content for the website.

- Steve O’Sullivan Discipline Committee and 1^ST Aid Co-ordinator

- Tommy Gough will talk to Jeremy Harris

- Jokers could be asked.

- Mark Hickox will be doing his goalie derby on the Sunday (Chuck)

- Tom Goodwin will ask K. Lambert if she’s interested in doing the Easter Egg Hunt again.

- Tom Goodwin will check into the Canteen at De La Salle.

- Tommy Gough will speak to Simon Evers about using some help taking team photos

- Jeremi Madsen said his team has a couple of photographers that might be able to help if needed.

- Refs have been taken care of

- Someone needs to pick up Charity Food Bins (Graham).
